About the Role 
As the Onboarding Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our new venues in assisting them with training, Payo set-up, support and driving the best customer experience in their venue.
This is a critical role for the business and you will need to confidently solve problems in the venue while providing great customer service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training, predominantly face to face in the venue. Follow up training will also be done over the phone and via Zoom.
  • Solve customer enquiries and issues in a satisfactory manner.
  • Continually working to improve merchant processes, managing onboarding within the CRM and venue reporting.
  • Create and maintain an onboarding schedule across your designated area/city and meet all timelines
  • Manage customer requests in a professional and friendly manner
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with merchants by providing the necessary training and support to improve revenue growth
  • Continually driving improvement with our clients across staff training, reporting and maintaining onboarding documentation.
  • Conducting test calls and meetings to ensure all venue staff are up to speed in their product knowledge and management
  • Actively seek to improve the process for the venue through efficient account management
  • Act as the first point of contact for the first two months after the initial onboarding
About You
  • Onboarding or customer service experience, with the ability to manage multiple accounts
  • A problem-solving attitude while being calm and composed under pressure
  • A high level of attention to detail is a must
  • Comfortable with technology and proficiency across Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suits, Slack, various project management software and so on.
  • Analytically minded and the ability to work under pressure
  • Previous experience within technology or hospitality
  • Experience within hospitality is highly desired
  • Great communication skills and fantastic customer service

  • Generate new business leads in your territory

  • Outbound prospecting via cold calling, email, Linkedin and closing deals through established networks.
  • Utilise Salesforce to manage your pipeline and report on all sales activity
